Covidence

Covidence is a web-based software platform that streamlines the production of systematic reviews. It supports citation screening, full text review, risk of bias assessment, and more. McMaster now provides unlimited access to university affiliates.

Importing into Covidence

The next step is import your references:

  1. Select Import studies > Import to Screen (for title/abstract screening)
  2. 'Browse' and select the file exported from citation management software or database. Covidence works with your favourite reference managers such as EndNote, Zotero, Refworks, Mendeley or any tool that support RIS, CSV or PubMedXML formats
  3. Select 'Import'

Identifying Duplicates

Covidence will try to identify duplicate references. View the duplicates from the Imports >> Manage Imports page. Click "Check Duplicates" under the import listed to see the references that were taken out.

For more information, visit Covidence - Viewing duplicates and errors - support page.
